2.0 - Compatibility
Before installing Well Seeker X, you should check which version your PC is compatible with.

To check the PCs OS version, right click on the Start Menu icon in your Windows task bar and select System. In the Device Specifications section, it will display in the System Type field what bit version of OS is installed.

If Microsoft Office / 365 is installed on the user’s machine, and the user wishes to use the 64-bit version of Well Seeker X, then Microsoft Office / 365 must also be 64-bit. To check the PCs Microsoft Office / 365 version, open any Office program, e.g., MS Excel or Word. Select File > Account > About XXX, where XXX is the name of the software.

If either of these conditions are not met, then you should install the 32-bit version of Well Seeker X.

6.0 – Troubleshooting
This section describes two common troubleshooting scenarios that can occur during installation, and how to solve them.
6.1 – Installer Reports No Internet Connection
During installation, the user receives the below error message, despite being connected to the internet.

This is caused by the user’s anti-virus software blocking the installer’s connection to the internet. To resolve this issue, temporarily disable your anti-virus before running the installer.
6.2 – Well Seeker X fails to Open
When the user launches the program, the Well Seeker X splash screen (pictured below) will display as normal, but the program will then close immediately.

This issue is usually caused by one of the prerequisite software, the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package, requiring an update. To resolve this issue, follow the guide in this link: Well Seeker X Failure to Open | Innova Drilling & Intervention
