# 9.1 - Section View Chart

The Section View chart displays a vertical section plot of the selected well. The X-Axis of the plot shows the Local Vertical Section displacement from the wellhead, while the Y-Axis shows the TVD.

The **section view azimuth** of the chart is displayed on the X-axis. This azimuth can be changed in the **Actual Well Properties**or the **Plan Properties** of the reference well.

The plot can be zoomed by scrolling the mouse wheel. When zoomed in, the **↑**, **↓**, **←** and **→** keys scroll the view in the corresponding direction. The view can also be scrolled by left clicking and dragging the mouse. The zoom can be reset by pressing the **Z** key.

Right clicking on the chart brings up the Context Menu and double left clicking anywhere on the chart opens the chart properties dialog.
