8.7 - Help
The Help ribbon contains functions to check your license, download updates, find additional resources and troubleshoot issues.

8.7.1 - Screen Capture
The Screen Recorder is a built-in Well Seeker tool designed to help users capture screen activity for troubleshooting and support purposes. If you are using version 3.0.2.8 or later, the tool will also record audio along with the screen capture. This allows users to talk through the issue while recording, making support investigations more efficient.
To record your screen, please follow these steps:
Make sure all relevant Well Seeker windows are on your main screen - the recorder cannot capture external monitors.
Click on Start in the Screen Capture section. You can also click on the screen capture icon in the bottom right of the status bar.
A red rectangle will appear around the capture area.
A time counter in the bottom right of the screen will show how long the recording has been running.

Reproduce the issue you are experiencing.
When finished, click on Stop in the Screen Capture section. You can also click on the screen capture icon in the bottom right of the status bar again to stop recording.
Still in the Screen Capture section, click Open. This will take you to your Debug folder. In the folder, you should see a video file called screenCapture.mp4. This is the video that you just recorded. Play the file to confirm it recorded correctly.
If Outlook is your default email software, then you can click on Email to create an email with the screenCapture.mp4 file already attached. Send this email to the Innova Support team ([email protected]) for review.

Create: Creates the debugging file in .zip format. Clicking on this button will open a dialog to select where the user wants to save the file in their local machine. The debug files contains the following:
A copy of the current Database with the date appended to the file name.

Systeminfo.txt - A txt document containing certain system information, including the current version of Well Seeker being used, Screen resolution details etc.
WellSeekerLog.txt – A log file of Well Seeker activity and diagnostics.

Open: Opens the Well Seeker X install directory.
