1.0 – Software
Innova’s software ecosystem is a fully integrated digital drilling platform designed to support the full lifecycle of well planning, engineering, and reporting. Built with scalability, real-time connectivity, and user configurability at its core, the Innova suite empowers both field and office-based teams to collaborate seamlessly. The platform is comprised of three key components, Well Seeker X, Innova Engineering, and the Innova Portal & Mobile App, each playing a critical role in delivering safe, efficient, and data-driven operations. Together, they provide a unified environment that supports everything from trajectory planning and anti-collision to torque and drag modelling, real-time analytics, and standardized operational reporting. The following sections provide a brief overview of the technical requirements and functionality of each component.
1.1 – Well Seeker X
Innova Well-Seeker X is a high performance well planning, survey management and reporting package designed for use by Operators, Well Engineering Companies and Directional Drilling Contractors. The software integrates high performance 2D & 3D graphics with a powerful database engine that allows the user to easily store and visualize their well trajectories as well as perform complex well planning and anti-collision calculations. Innova Well Seeker X offers exceptional performance with all the features expected of an industry leading well planning package, including Integrated Reporting, Asset Management, Well Analytics and RT anti-collision features.
1.2 - Innova Engineering
Innova Engineering is an advanced well engineering software solution combining the power of multiple packages into one application. Incorporating Hydraulics, Torque and Drag, SAG Correction, BHA Analysis, BHA magnetic Interference Calculator, Survey Correction & QC, Casing Standoff and Centralizer Placement, Cementing Design and Jar Placement modules, Innova Engineering provides a comprehensive engineering package to plan and drill your well successfully.
Innova Engineering was developed by engineers for engineers to provide the premier engineering software package for the oil and gas industry. With exceptional functionality and an intuitive yet powerful interface, Innova Engineering delivers an innovative and integrated solution for Operators and Service Providers alike.
1.3 – Innova Portal & App
The Innova Portal is an online, cloud-based platform designed to provide users with access to an array of powerful solutions across the Innova platform. It provides a powerful collaborative ecosystem with centralized data storage.
The Innova portal allows users, with the relevant permissions and credentials to access the organisations server database without the requirement to download and install any software. In addition to the features detailed in the Well Seeker X section, the Portal also has the following features.

1.3.4 - Computer Requirements
Both Well Seeker X and Innova Engineering are very quick and easy to install, and the user does not require any more than basic computer skills to achieve this.
Recommended system requirements are as follows

Minimum 500MB of hard disk space.
64-bit Computer
64-bit Microsoft Windows version 10 or better
64-bit - Microsoft Office

1.3.5 - Licensing
Both Well Seeker X and Innova Engineering programs use computer specific licensing. Once the software has been installed on a computer, a code is generated which is unique to that machine. This is then used to generate a license which when added to the relevant folder, activates the license, and gives the user access to the program.
Enterprise, server based, remote access and local license options are all supported.
2.0 – Well Placement Solution
Innova’s Well Placement solution, built around the powerful Well Seeker X and Innova Portal platform, delivers a comprehensive, industry-aligned environment for accurate, efficient well path planning and collision risk management. Designed to meet the rigorous standards of ISCWSA and tailored for complex well geometries, our solution enables engineers to plan, visualize, and execute trajectories with precision and confidence. With real-time anti-collision functionality, integrated geosteering tools, and robust 3D visualization capabilities, Innova ensures safe well placement and optimal asset utilization across all operational regions.
