2.0 - Main Interface

The screenshot below shows the layout of the Innova Web Portal.

Most of the window is taken up by the current page view. When the user first logs in the current page view will show the Wells List. The current page view can be switched to other pages by accessing them in the Main Menu or the Sidebar Menu.
The Main Menu can be accessed by clicking on the icon in the top left of the Web Portal window. It contains options for customisation and management of the organisation’s database. The Sidebar Menu is arranged down the left-hand side of the Web Portal window. It allows the user to switch the current page view to other pages. It can be collapsed or expanded by clicking on the arrow at the top of the menu. The Well Views and Analytics options in the menu can also be expanded into sub-menus by clicking on them.
Lastly, the User Profile options can be accessed by clicking on the icon in the top right of the Web Portal window.

2.1 - User Profile

The user profile is menu is accessible by clicking on the icon in the top right of the Web Portal window. It has the following functions:
Profile: Displays the nickname, email address and login username of the currently logged in user.
Change Units: Allows the user to change the units used in the Web Portal. The user has the choice of US, API, Metric or Metric-mixed unit sets.
Change Password: Allows the user to change the password used when logging in to the Web Portal.
Logout: Logs out the currently logged in user.

2.2 - Main Menu

The Main Menu can be accessed by clicking on the icon in the top left of the Web Portal window. It contains options for customisation, management of the organisation’s database and management of user permissions.

The top of the main menu displays the username of the currently logged in user, as well as the organisation that they are a part of.
The Oil Price section displays live prices for a barrel of Brent and WTI crude oil. The time beside each one shows when the prices were last updated.
Home: Returns the user to the Web Portal home page.
Profile: Displays the nickname, email address and login username of the currently logged in user.
Wells: Opens the Wells List window. See section 3 - Wells List.
Tool Orders: Opens the Tool Orders window. See section 8 - Tool Orders.
Data Acquisition: Opens the Data Acquisition window. See section 9 - Data Acquisition.
Error Models: Opens the Error Models window. See section 11 - Error Models.
User Management: Opens the User Management window. See section 12 - User Management.
The Map Preferences section allows the user to customise the map in the Wells List window. In the Layers subsection the user can toggle on additional geological and geographical information on the map. The Shale Play Layer and Conv (Conventional) Play Layer toggles display their respective oil play areas on the map. The user can hover their cursor over these layers to see their names. Additionally, they can toggle on state and county borders using the State Layer and County Layer toggles.
In the Well Status subsection, the user can change which wells are displayed on the map in the Wells List window. By default, only Active wells are displayed, but the user can also toggle on wells with Upcoming and Standby status.
Lastly, in the Global Preferences section the user can change which well types are displayed in the Wells List Window. If Show All Wells is turned off, only active, standby, upcoming and TD wells are shown. If Show All Wells is turned on, all well statuses will be included in the All Wells counter, and all wells will be shown in the wells list.

2.3 - Sidebar Menu

The Sidebar Menu is arranged down the left-hand side of the Web Portal window. It allows the user to switch the current page view to other pages. It can be collapsed or expanded by clicking on the arrow at the top of the menu. The Well Views and Analytics options in the menu can also be expanded into sub-menus by clicking on them.
