3.0 - Main Interface

The screenshot below shows the layout of the Innova Web Portal:

Most of the window is taken up by the current page view. When the user first logs in the current page view will show the Wells List. The current page view can be switched to other pages by accessing them in the Main Menu or the Sidebar Menu.

Lastly, there are some additional options in the top right of the window. These options allow the user to manage their user profile, chat to other users, follow specific rigs or operators, change units, access help and log out.

3.1 - Sidebar Menu

The Sidebar Menu is arranged down the left-hand side of the Web Portal window. It allows the user to switch the current page view to other pages. It can be collapsed or expanded by clicking on the arrow at the top of the menu. The Well Views and Analytics options in the menu can also be expanded into sub-menus by clicking on them.

3.2 - Main Menu

The top of the main menu displays the username of the currently logged in user, as well as the organization that they are a part of.

The Oil Price section displays live prices for a barrel of Brent and WTI crude oil. The time beside each one shows when the prices were last updated.

Wells: Returns the user to the Well List home page. See section 4.0 - Wells List.

Profile: Opens the user profile page. This will display your username, organization, assigned role and the permissions granted by that role. For more information, see the Additional Options section below.

Database Admin Tools: Opens the Database Admin Tools submenu. See section 11.0 - Database Admin Tools.

File Manager: Opens the File Manager page. See section 12.0 - File Manager.

Error Models: Opens the Error Models page. See section 13.0 - Error Models.

Tool Orders: Opens the Tool Orders page. See section 14.0 - Tool Orders.

Asset Search: Opens the Asset Search page. See section 15.0 - Asset Search.

Incident Dashboard: Opens the Incident Dashboard page. See section 16.0 - Incident Dashboard.

Data Acquisition: Opens the Data Acquisition page. See section 7.0 - Data Acquisition.

Well Seeker Admin: Opens the Well Seeker Admin page. See section 18.0 - Well Seeker Admin.

User Management: Opens the User Management page. See section 19.0 - User Management.

3.3 - Additional Options

In the top right of the page are some additional options. These options can be accessed by clicking on their icons, or by opening the user profile menu.

Profile: Opens the user profile page. At the top of the page your username, organization and assigned role are displayed.

In the Permissions section, you can see the permissions that are granted by your assigned role:

  • Admin: Can add, remove, and edit users and roles.

  • Edit: Can edit items in the database.

  • Delete: Can delete items in the database.

  • Create: Can create new items in the database.

  • Approve: Allows the user to approve bid sheets.

The Features section shows which parts of the Innova product line you have access to. The available features are governed by the features that you organization has purchased, as well as the role that you username has been assigned. Each column in the table represents access to each Innova product:

  • Well Seeker: Only the Base feature is relevant in this column. If this is checked, you can use your username and password to log in to your organization's remote server database when using Well Seeker Pro.

  • Mobile App: Defines the features available when you are using the Innova Mobile App on your smartphone.

  • Third Party: Defines the features you have access to when using the Innova API to retrieve data using third party apps.

  • Web Services: Defines the features that you have access to when logged in to the Innova Web Portal.

Change Units: Allows the user to change the units used in the Web Portal. The unit sets that are available here are set up by the organization admin in the User Management page. See section 17.0 - User Management.

Change Password: Allows the user to change the password used when logging in to the Web Portal.

Logout: Logs out the currently logged in user.
